I have decided to walk away from my business which is a franchise. I am asking for prayer that God would put his hand of protection over my family and our assets as I am walking away 1.5-years into a 10-year contract. If the franchisor decides to sue me for lost royalties this will bury us. I believe that decision is the right thing to do despite the risk. Please pray that God would block a lawsuit and that he will prepare the franchisor's heart into allowing me to leave without financial repercussion.
