3 Wrong Approaches to Being Rich That Will Leave You Poor

[vc_empty_space height=”400px”]

Jesus talks more about money than he talks about heaven, hell and prayer combined.
It isn’t that Jesus is after our money so much as he is warning us that our money is after us.  In the Message paraphrase of Luke 12:15 Jesus says,

“Life is not defined by what you have even if you have a lot.”

Yet, I suspect many of us tend to measure our worth or our place in society or our value on the basis of the stuff we have.  We tend to see ourselves as less than someone who has more stuff than us or we see ourselves as somewhat better than those who have less.

Making our self-worth equal to our net-worth is a bad way to assess who we are.

It’s something we’re going chat about on Sunday because it is a super big deal and Jesus wants us to get it right.
