Join us for a very special Christmas Eve where we’ll explore how to find and have hope through the coldest and darkest of times.

A Campus Watch Party is a gathering of people at one of our physical locations to experience the online Christmas Eve Service together.

Seating is limited, please reserve a seat for each family member you’re bringing.
Due to Covid challenges we will be using electronic candles rather than waxed candles at our Christmas Eve Watch Party.

We are so glad that you are joining us for a weekend service.
Please take note of the following in order to help us gather safely:

Do not attend if you are

Registration is required

Campus Party.  Bring your

Sanitize your hands
Upon entering and exiting

in your family or cohort

The doors will open 15 minutes
before the
service (8:45a).
If you arrive early, please stay
in your vehicle
until then.

Usher will assist you

Masks are available if
you are unable to bring

If attending with children
please keep them with you for
the service. There is
no separate
children’s
programming.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What measures will be in place for safety?

Everyone must pre-register for services. This will help us ensure we are not exceeding 30% capacity while maintaining physical distancing protocols of at least 6 feet between every registered household.

  • Entrance and exit from services will be controlled to ensure physical distancing.
  • Touch points will have regular cleaning
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all entrances.
  • Everyone is required to wear a mask.

We will do everything we can to create a safe environment, and with the cooperation of those attending, we will do our best. That being said, it is perfectly okay to keep attending online if you are concerned about the risks involved.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Yes. everyone attending must wear a mask, including children unless a medical condition prohibits them. Masks are important to the safety of everyone present.  Click here for information on the importance of wearing masks and shields, and distancing .

I’m in a vulnerable population, or live with someone who is. Is it safe for me to come?

While we will do everything in our power to ensure safety, there are still risks with attending. Online church at home will continue and you are encouraged to engage with church in the way that will best ensure the safety of you and your family.

Can I choose my seat?

You will be able to choose your seat but as the room fills an usher may need to guide you to an open section to maintain the necessary physical distancing protocols.

When will Campus Watch Parties be?

We will host Watch Parties at both the Waterloo and Kitchener campuses at 9:00am on Sunday mornings.

Will there be Kids ministry provide onsite?

There will not be any Kids ministry programing during this first stage of in person Watch Parties.   Children will need to stay and be seated with their household during the service.

Kid’s programing will appear only online with preschool content streaming before the services 8:30a and 10:30a and Elementary content streaming approximately 5 minutes after the services.   All the kid’s content will also be available on demand here.

What will the Campus Watch Parties look like?

They will be a broadcast of the 9:00am streaming online service.

How do I register?

You can visit creeksidechurch.ca/watch or through the weekly update.

Do I need to register every week that I’m attending?

Yes, you need to register each week that you plan to attend. Registration will close Friday noon for the coming Sunday.  Seating is limited.

When should I arrive?

Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each service. We ask that you come early enough to accommodate the extra time needed to check everyone in and get your household seated without compromising physical distance.

What about hugs, fist bumps and high fives?

Not just yet! We will be in the same space, but maintaining physical distancing at all times.

Will the café be open? Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No, the cafés won’t re-open yet. Please do not bring any food or drink into the building.
