Shirley Duff, who many know through Divorce Care, Single & Parenting, and the Daniel Plan, has been hospitalized since January 5th with acute back and leg pain, experiencing extremely limited mobility. Since then she has been diagnosed with cancer; she has had 4 lower vertebrae inserted with metal plates as they were badly deteriorated. Tomorrow morning she is scheduled for hip/leg surgery to do the same. Treatment plan is yet to be determined, though it appears radiation will be certain for the secondary cancer sites. Primary source of her cancer has not been identified as yet. Please pray for the Lord's clear intervention and presence in her health care, her 4 childrens' lives, and for Shirley's deep desire to see God's people embrace true shalom (wholeness of one's entire being: body, soul and spirit) realized. Believing Psalm 138:8 for Shirley.
