I am praying for God's direction for my career right now. I have a job at a good, reputable company, however when I got the job four years ago, it was to fill a gap in income in my family, a job to get us through financially after my previous job contract ended and a good job after graduating university. Four years later and I am still in the job because it has been too hard to leave - the income is savings for us, the benefits have been helpful for my well-being and the job is not difficult. The biggest challenge I face is that the job is all computer based and I have learned enough in the last six months to know that this job is not the right fit for me. I'm struggling daily with sitting at the computer all day and I desperately need an alternative, however I haven't had the energy to commit to looking elsewhere because the job is draining me so much. I would greatly appreciate prayers for direction, discernment and perseverance through this stage in my life.
