What is Alpha?
A nyone interested in finding out more about the Christian life. Adults of all ages welcome.
L earning & laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time!
P eople meeting together. An opportunity to get to know others and to make new friends.
H elping one another. The groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised in the talks.
A sk anything! Alpha is a place where all questions are welcome.

• Newcomers to Creekside
• New Christians
• Seekers with lots of questions

What happens at Alpha?
1. We have a great meal together as we unwind from the busy day.

2. We listen to a brief talk on one of the following interesting subjects:
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
Why should I read the Bible?
Why and How do I pray?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
How can I overcome evil?
Why and how should I tell others?
What is the Church?
How can I make the most of my life?

3. After each talk there is time in small groups to discuss questions/issues arising from the talk. This is a time to get to know each other and learn together - there are no wrong questions.
