THREE ways to give...

1 | Offering Box in Atrium
You may have noticed that we don't "pass the plate" on Sunday. We believe your offerings are between you and God as you come to see Him as the owner and you as the steward of your resources. Furthermore, we don't wish to create a barrier for those just starting to explore the claims of Jesus (and who may have a - sometimes merited - cynical view of church and money).
Thus, we simply provide an Offering Box in the atrium where you can place your offerings.

Request for Envelopes
If you would like to receive a supply of numbered offering envelopes (which greatly assists in the counting and recording of the offerings each week), simply contact the office.

2 | Pre-Authorized Withdrawal
If you are a regular donor, you can arrange to have your monthy donation automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Forms are available beside the Offering Box. Simply fill one out, provide a voided cheque and place it in the Offering Box. Automatic withdrawals should begin in the next month. We also encourage you to review your donations at least annually and use the same form to make desired changes to the withdrawals.

3 | Online Donations
Finally, you can make an online donation with a credit card through Canada Helps by clicking the Donate Now button on this page. You can set it up for a one-time or repeating donation. You can also donate stocks through this facility. All transactions are secure and confidential.

Note: Canada Helps is a Canadian charity set up in conjunction with the financial community to facilitate charitable giving in Canada. CanadaHelps charges a 3.9% transaction fee to cover its costs, which is deducted from your donation before the funds are transferred to Creekside Church. Click here for more information.

Receipts for Income Tax Purposes
An annual receipt for income tax purposes is provided by Creekside Church each February for contributions made during the previous calendar year through the Offering Box and via Pre-Authorized Withdrawal. For online donations, a receipt is issued to you directly from CanadaHelps via e-mail immediately upon completion of the transaction.

Designated funds are only accepted for Board approved programs and campaigns, and with the understanding that when a given need is met, the gift will be used where needed most. Gifts designated to non-approved programs will be considered part of Creekside Ministries.
