Q | How much does it cost?
A | Approx $150 (includes member's kit and Bible Study Guide)
Q | Do I have to be a member of Creekside Church to join First Place 4 Health?
A | No; we currently have a couple of group members who go to other churches in the area.
Q | What do I get for $150?
A | For new members the cost is approximately $140. This includes the cost of the member's kit and of a First Place 4 Health Bible Study Guide.This is a one time only cost.There is also membership fee of $10. This is payable each session and goes towards ongoing costs of running the group.
Q | What is the cost for future sessions?
A | Returning members typically pay $25-$30 for a 12 week session. This cost varies with the cost of the study guide being used and the exchange rate.
Q | Can I pay by installments?
A | No, sorry.This is not available at this time.
Q | How long is each session?
A | Each session is 12 weeks long, corresponding to the length of the Bible study. Once a session is in progress, no new people are accepted.
Q | Does the group only meet on Tuesday nights?
A | Yes.
Q | How big is the group?
A | It has been found that the group is best if we keep it at no more than 12 people. The group is declared full when it reaches a size of 12.
Q | Do you accept men into the group?
A | There have been men in the group in the past, but the group is primarily made up of women. It'd be great if a separate men's group started up!
Q | Is the group confidential?
A | Yes. What is said in the group, stays in the group. There is no reporting of group members to the church. Only those in the group know who is in the group. However, meetings are held at the church during which time other groups meet.
